Drew Blythe Barrymore, born 22nd February 1975, is an American actress. She is the recipient of numerous honors including an award from the Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild Award as along with five Emmy Award nominations and a BAFTA nomination. She is part of the Barrymore actor family and the granddaughter of John Barrymore. Barrymore gained fame as a child actor with her role in E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. Following a highly publicized childhood that was characterized by drug and alcohol addiction, she wrote her autobiography Little Girl Lost. In the 90s she was a part of several films, including PoisonIvy, Boys on the Side and Mad Love. Barrymore was in the spotlight with Adam Sandler in a few films, including The Wedding Singer and 50 First Dates. Barrymore was a young actress who became famous for her role in E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. She released Little Girl Lost, her autobiography of her childhood filled with addiction to alcohol and drugs.
